Late at night on the April, 21st, 1996 as a result of act of terrorism became Shaheed ( Inshaa Allah) the first president of the Chechen Independent State general Dzhohar Dudayev. The impact of the rocket occurred at the moment when the Chechenian president was talking by satellite phone in deserted district nearby to village Gehi-chu in West CRI.
The Russian invaders hoped, that with Dudayev's murder resistance of Chechens will be stopped and the war will quickly end in favour of the occupational armies. However the events following the incident showed that the hopes of Kremlin could not be justified. Chechens not only did not tremble, on the contrary concentrated all their efforts and struck a crushing blow on aggressors, releasing the capital of the Native land and took full control of the situation in the country.
After Dudayev's death the Chechen government created special investigatory group on an establishment of organizers and executors of this act of terrorism. Before exit of Russian occupational armies from the Chechen Republic, the investigatory group worked in underground conditions. With restoration of sovereignty CRI, since August 1996 till September, 1999 the Chechen inspectors worked legally, collecting all necessary information on this act of terrorism.
From the moment of new intrusion of Russian aggressors into the Chechen Republic, the investigatory group became coded and began operating on underground conditions.
Till today a great volume of information and documents which partially throw light on murder by means of act of terrorism of the first Chechen president has been collected. In spite of the fact of consequent investigation, today it is possible to speak, that in this act of terrorism against Dudayev special services of USA and Russia are involved. Also the supreme military and political management of both these countries.
On one of versions which till now is fulfilled by the Chechen investigatory group, the location of the site of Dudayev was transferred to the Russian side, under the direct instruction of Clinton administration. The Agency of National Safety (ŔNS) of the USA traced sessions of a satellite communication of the Chechen president, used by system "INMARSAT".
Besides it is established, that the order on the organization of act of terrorism was given directly by Yeltsin. Organizers of act of terrorism and executors were personally labeled with golden stars and heroes of Russia by Yeltsin.
Interests of consequent investigation do not allow to open most of the details of this crime. However with all definiteness and confidence it is possible to declare, that investigation will not stop under any circumstances and will be finished. Organizers and executors of this act of terrorism will be found (some of them are already certain) and severely punished without a limitation period.
