10 Russian Invaders Gunned Down in Chechnya

3 Russian invaders were annihilated and several others were wounded in an attack of Chechen Mujahideen against a mobile Russian checkpoint in the area of the Ersenoi village in the Vedeno district on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 5), according to a report from the Chechen Military Command.

 

Another 2 Russian soldiers belonging to "special forces troops" (OMON)  were annihilated by Chechen Mujahideen during a reconnaissance operation in the district of Nozhai Yurt on Sunday. Two Mujahideen were also slightly injured in the attack.

 

2 Russian troops were killed in small arms attacks in the Zavodsky district of the Chechen capital Jokhar on the night between November 4-5, 2006.

 

1 Russian soldier was gunned down in the area of the Vedeno village on November 6, 2006. His weapons were seized, the Chechen report says.

 

According to Russian news reports, 1 Russian soldier was killed and another one was wounded in the area of the village Khimoi in southern Chechnya.

 

According to Radio Liberty, 2 Russian troops were killed and another one was severely wounded near the village of Nikikhat in a sabotage operation of Chechen Mujahideen.
