New Changes in Chechen Military Command

The Chechen President Dokka Umarov awarded the ranks of Brigade Generals to Colonel Suleiman Imurzaev (Hairullah), to Colonel Rabbani Khalilov and to Colonel Ahmed Evloev (Magas).

 

Due to changes in operational situation and in order to improve military coodination, the President  as the Armed Forces Chief created two new Fronts, North-Eastern and North-Western, on the basis on the former Northern Front as well as converted the former Eastern Front into the South-Eastern Front.

 

He nominated  Bridage General  Suleiman Imurzaev (Hairullah) as the South-Eastern Front Commander,  Colonel Abubakar Elmuradov as the North-Western Front Commander, Brigade General Ahmed Evloev (Magas) as the Caucasian Front Commander, Colonel Taghir Bataev as the North-Eastern Front Commander and Colonel Abubakar Basaev as the Central Front Commander.

 

The President also confirmed Brigade General Rabbani Khalilov as the Dagestani Front Commander, Brigade General Tarkhan Gaziev as the South-Western Front Commander, Colonel Abdurrahman Kamaputdinov (Jundullah) as the Volga Front Commander and Colonel Mikhail Zakharov (Asadullah) as the Urals Front Commander.
