Statement by the President of C.R.I., Dokka Umarov

Publication time: 23 June 2006, 21:34

Dokka Umarov, who assumed, in connection with the death of president of CRI Sadulayev, a post of the head of Chechen state, has given a statement. In his statement he particularly noted that on June 17, of this year, in the gun battle with Russian invaders and their puppets in the town of Argun, President of CRI Abdul-Halim Sadulayev became a Shaheed (insha Allah).

"It is not the first time that we lose one of our Presidents," - Umarov has reminded, having pointed that Chechen leaders accept death as warriors, as heroes, leaving to us, who remain alive, an example of how we all should live and die on the straight path of Allah the Supreme.

"Abdul-Halim was one of the most worthy sons of the Chechen people, our leader and, in spite of his young age, our wise teacher. Undoubtedly, the death of Adbul-Halim is a heavy loss for us. However, we must all be glad on behalf of our Brother Abdul-Halim, because Allah the Supreme has honoured his death. Shaheed, insha Allah!"

Further, Dokka Umarova has noted: "I want to report officially that we have created a special subdivision in the structures of all six fronts of our Armed Forces, consisting of the most experienced fighters, under united control and equipped with a united data base, whose task will be the liquidation of the most offensive national traitors from the punitive formations, as well as those war criminals from the occupation formations, who have been sentenced to the most severe punishment for their atrocities and murders by the Shariah Court of the CRI. From now on, there will be no mercy and leniency for the executioners of the Chechen and other peoples of the North Caucasus, wherever they might be.

Today the Chechens are not the only nation which is fighting against Russia's imperial claims. The best sons of all the North Caucasian nations have risen against colonial dependence. They are all united in the Caucasian and Dagestan fronts of the CRI Armed Forces, we have a united coordination of our actions. Every day the brotherhood of the North Caucasian Mujahideen is becoming stronger. And we cannot but recognize our Caucasian brothers' right to freedom.

It must be noted as well that the current situation presents us with new problems of a strategic nature. In the 21st century, only the Muslims in Russia are under colonial oppression, and Russia today remains the only colonial empire in the world. We intend to complete the preparations to considerably enlarge the war zone already this summer, so it will cover not only the Caucasus, but many regions of Russia. This means the creation of new fronts, additionally to the six fronts which already exist."

As a conclusion Dokka Umarov has stated: "Dear brothers and sisters, my compatriots! I assure you that we have sufficient forces and will in order to continue the Jihad. Whatever Russia calls our fighters, they are the honour and pride of our nation. We are fighting for a righteous matter and, in spite of all difficulties, deprivation and losses, victory, insha Allah, will be ours!

Allahu Akbar!"
